Kenneth is owner and COO of Onyx Engineering, Inc. He has served in various capacities during his advancement at Onyx Engineering. His functional responsibilities have included instrument engineering, project management, office manager, business development, and client relations.

Kenneth has served as V.P.of Programs for the Coastal Bend Chapter and has been a PMI member since 2004. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Randy is a BSME graduate of Louisiana Tech University, holds an MSME from University of Houston and an MBA from Corpus Christi State University, Now TAMUCC.  He is a registered P.E. in Texas and a certified PMP

Randy Has been a refinery Maintenance Manager, Projects Engineering Manager and has been a Maintenance Manager for the world's first two stage iron carbide plant.

Tara Hines

Tara is a Project Controls Specialist at HDR Engineering, Inc. She has worked with the HDR Project Controls Group to establish best practices in project management including earned value.  She has specialized in Sharepoint for project management.  Prior to this Tara owned a construction specialties company for 15 years.  

This is Tara's first year on the board for the Coastal Bend Chapter and has been a PMI member since 2011. She received her BS in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

VP Membership

John has over 25 years of IT/IM and Project Management experience, including 20+ years' software development in engineering, aerospace, accounting, environmental protection, and retail in private, public and government industries. Over the last 20 years John has served California and Texas clients including U.S Navy, U.S. Army, E-Systems, Inc, Gray Environmental Consulting, Inc, Urban Engineering, Regional Transit Authority.

John for the past 8-years has been the PMO Project Manager for the U.S. Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA). John is the Director of Enterprise Data Management directorship that manages software design, development, deployment and maintenance of all public and private web sites. Using PMI for project management guidelines and, as a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level II sponsor and organization, his organization manages the project developments of new and older Web sites and applications.

John is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified as a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) workforce employee. He has a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics (MSAM).
